The Third International IDEA Conference will be held at Ege University, Izmir, Turkey on 16-18 April 2008. The Conference will be jointly hosted by Ege University, Department of English Language and Literature, and English Language and Literature Research Association of Turkey (IDEA). The Conference will cover the following four main areas of studies in English:
Literature
Language and Linguistics
Translation Studies
Cultural Studies
Proposals for papers to be presented, which focus on any of the above four areas, are welcome from colleagues all over the world. Proposals should meet the approximate word count of 250-300. Including a list of 3-5 keywords will be helpful in the organization of the sessions. Proposals may be submitted by e-mail to the following address:
